$1 rebate, $10 and $25 gc's to add

A small check came today, so that's another dollar to add to this month's challenge total. There are some good rebates this month at Rite Aid that I want to take advantage of, including one or two free after rebates for things I would actually use.

Using gift cards I spent a grand 63 cents at Lowe's today, and when I came home there was a $25 gc in the mail. Oh well. It'll get put to good use sooner or later. I also got a $10 Joann's card this week, for spending a certain amount with that credit card. They're discontinuing the rewards program in July, so I'll be cancelling that card. But I did get $20 or $30 in gc's from it, so it was good while it lasted.

    I received a notice from one of my credit cards...i believe it was ATT...that they are cancelling their rewards card as well. I wonder if this is going to be a new trend?

    I sure hope not- The card that I do use has been very beneficial- I receive a $20 check usually monthly or bi-monthly.

    Also, thanks for sharing your Rite-Aid finds. We have a Rite-Aid in Medford and I am going to start going there for some of those deals you report on. So thanks!

    i heard that mypoints is gonna go to games, and surveys too... i have noticed they are sending more of these emails to me.. i remember when i used to get 10 pts for each email i read.. now it is down to 5 pts and maybe down for 0 next.. i cashed out and they are gonna send me a wmt card for spouse.. i like riteaid for rebates online and the receipt i keep for manufacturers rebate.. i sent jan-mar $10 voucher and gas receipt for that time period to autoadvantage to see if they will pay... i already received $10 back for the apr-june rebate... if they send cb for jan-mar, i will do the other 2 for the rest of the year, jul-sept, oct-dec...

    I like Rite Aid's rebate procedure - quick and easy, with no forms to fill out. I went today for this month's deals.

    I don't know what will happen with MyPoints. I have some pending points that, once they clear, I'm planning on cashing out.

    markio26 - let me know what happens with the gas vouchers. I'll be curious to see if they refund the money even if you're no longer a member.
