Blue Rectangle for Used Books?

March 30th, 2006 at 05:32 pm

A friend asked me if I'd ever heard of Blue Rectangle (www.bluerectangle.com) for selling used books. It works like ebookdrop.com. I checked it out, entered the ISBNs for my books currently listed at half.com, and saw that they would buy three of my books for a whopping 62 cents. Oh well. I thought I'd pass along the URL in case anyone else wanted to try it.

This is so interesting! I'm going to give these a shot. Might as well try to get something from these suckers! (I sense a spreadsheet coming on.)

I tried ebookdrop a week ago, entered in about a dozen books, and they indicated "no demand at this time" for each book. If they're only buying the very latest titles, guess i wont be hearing "ca-ching."

I read on the forum that some people had trouble getting paid from ebookdrop.com.

I have some books they would buy but if I have to e-mail and call them to get my money, I wouldn't bother.

Any recent experiences with ebookdrop payments?

I am still waiting for a check from ebookdrop for a small box I mailed out the middle of February.

No - something I really ought to follow up on with them.
