Spending, not saving

We went out to dinner last night. The car's battery died this morning. Money is slipping through our fingers right now like water.

I got sad news last night, and the last thing I wanted to do was sit around the house, so we all went out. It didn't change anything, but it got my mind off of other things for a bit. At least we'll have leftovers for dinner tonight.
