We have several birthdays coming up, so I need to get thinking about inexpensive but thoughtful gifts. DD has 4 friends with birthdays between now and 2/24, and then my dad's birthday is in March. My birthday is next month too, as is DD's. November through February is a whirwind around here, between the holidays and birthdays in the family!

I stuck to my goal regarding trips to Starbucks again this week, I'm please to report. Dh has set a similar goal for himself - in fact, we did this independently of one another, so it was kind of funny when we were talking about it and realized we both been thinking along the same lines.
