While Dh and I try to be frugal and smart with our money, we are willing to spend more money if shopping elsewhere clashes with our values or principles. There are certain stores we will never shop at, and thankfully we have enough choices around here that we don't ever have to even think about it. We might spend more on certain things, but it is heartening to know that we aren't sacrificing our values to save a few cents here and there. This goes for buying organic foods as well. The only way prices will come down on them is if demand goes up. I look at it as a health issue anyway, for my family and for the planet. I guess you can say that we speak wiht our money.
